Now that my Assemblage assignment is... assembled, I can say that it presents my lifelong journey and evolution with technology. It takes a look at the 'disruptions' this course has revealed through three lenses: 1) Boundaries, 2) Unpredictability, and 3) Interconnectivity. As a French teacher who has taught three levels of French, one thing is clear: Technology is a huge engagement amplifier when it comes to teaching a second language. It allows for individualization and accelerated growth but it also presents new challenges and increased risks. I've structured it in a way where my personal voice is distinctly heard; Since we're revolutionizing education and this isn't a formal essay, why not have some fun with the writing? I start off with where I stood before the course and what I've use in the past to my three elements and how I've struggled through the pros, cons, and concerns to tying it together to addressing where I'll be headed. It's an overview of what I'm walking away with after EDU5148.
